It's disheartening to see how many students these days have absolutely zero school pride. They don't feel about their school, they don't get involved in programs, and they just seem indifferent. It's like they've lost sight of what it means to be part of a group and support their fellow students. This lack of spirit is negative to the entire school environment.

Man, this cap just won't cooperate! I'm struggling to adjust it, but it still feels tight. Maybe my head is a strange shape. I guess it goes to show you that sometimes fit just right.

Not My Alma Mater

When I read the words "alma mater|my old school|the place where I learned}", it doesn't spark feelings of warmth and nostalgia. For me, it's a unfamiliar concept. Maybe because my time there were not like others, or perhaps I simply haven't had the time to reminisce. Whatever the reason, that phrase doesn't hold the same meaning for me as it does for others.

It's not that I dislike my time at school. It was a valuable chapter, just not one that feels familiar in the way many people describe.

Perhaps it's because I made my passions away from the traditional school setting. Or maybe it's because my memories are defined by different experiences. Whatever the case, "Not My Alma Mater|My School Is Different|This Isn't My Old School", and that's perfectly okay.

I Am Bleeding Blue

The society doesn't understand that I bleed a different hue. They glare with disgust as I reveal the truth of my existence. My blood is a sign of i dont have school spirit {somethingdifferent that they can't imagine. They categorize me as other, but I am simply special.

The Concept of School Spirit? Nah

Seriously, school/the whole idea of/that thing they call "school spirit/spirit week/pep rallies" is about as appealing/relevant/interesting to me as a moldy sandwich/root canal/trip to the dentist. I'd rather be practicing my guitar/reading a good book/taking a nap than wearing a ridiculous costume and chanting slogans. Give me brains over brawn any day!

  • My teachers/My friends/Even my family all think I'm weird/missing out/crazy, but whatever. They can keep their traditions.
  • Maybe when I'm older

Just Here for the Snacks

Let's be real, sometimes gathering/ chilling/hanging out with people/ friends/squad is all about the spread/ feast/ bounty! I mean, who can resist a good platter/ selection/ assortment of tasty treats/ goodies/ munchies? It's like a buffet/ an oasis/ the promised land of deliciousness/ yumminess/ pure snacking heaven. Give me cookies any day! I totally prioritize/live for/am here for those snacks/ goodies/ bites that make a gathering/ hangout/ party truly unforgettable.
